For breakfast, I decided to play with the green juice by adding cacao powder and agave to see if the combined powers of pineapple and chocolate would make this juice taste great.
On the road to Jungle Jim's
I had to use more cacao than in the chocolate-strawberry juice because the pineapple was not as ripe as the one we had been using, but the addition definitely made the juice more enjoyable to drink. However, the thickness and heaviness made it last longer than normal and reduced my juices down to two instead of three today.
We had to make a trip to the new Jungle Jim's for cheap apples, oranges, and more cacao powder. When exiting, I made a wrong turn onto the freeway, so we ended up going to the closer outlet mall for fun and exercise. I picked up a cute scarf and lightweight pullover hoodie, so the trip was not wasted. For dinner, my mom made a strawberry-apple juice, which was light and refreshing.
Enjoyed while playing cards
My mom and I finished our Spades Death Match when I reached 1003 points, so we started a Gin Death Match to 1000 (current standings: Mom 371 vs. me 495).
I tried the chai tea tonight, and it disappointed me because it did not have the depth of the mate chocolate tea. Oh well.
Tabata tomorrow.
